Brian is with the Abundance Foundation, and he is the kind of friend who tells Magic the truth, even when Magic does not want to hear it. Brian once made a call Magic did not like one bit, and Magic had an attitude toward him for about six months. Looking back, it is part of why Magic believes in honest mentorship: sometimes the people who help you most are the ones willing to tell you no.
